The first entertainment-business reality TV show Final Pitch launches its Season 3 with a promise to entertain viewers with more business insights.
The reality TV show aims to provide an avenue for entrepreneurs to be funded by established business leaders and investors. Pitching new business ideas, The Final Pitch was created not just to serve as a guide for entrepreneurs but also to allow investors to find and invest in new great ideas.
Congressman Mikee Romero and Mega Global Corporation President and CEO William Tiu Lim return as investor judges in the newest season of The Final Pitch.
Two new investor judges are also joining, including Michael Dargani, President and CEO of IceDream Inc., the franchise owner of Baskin Robbins in the Philippines; and Mark Vernon, founder of blockchain-based digital wallet and platform Tagcash Ltd.
Romero is joined by his daughter Milka Romero in the show’s third season.
When asked about how much the judges are willing to invest, AirAsia Philippines co-owner and 1 Pacman Partylist Rep. Mikee Romero said: “It will be a good help to SMEs [small and medium enterprises], which we need to sustain our economic growth. I think for the range, it’s from P10 million to P40 million, or maybe more.”
“It’s a good help to our country and to new entrepreneurs. I learned it from my Dad, who always wants to help, help and help,” says daughter Milka, a millennial restaurateur and founder of the Roku Group of Companies which manages restaurant brands Roku Sushi + Ramien and Sushi Nori under its wing.
A total of 24 applicants will be chosen from the initial screening. Out of the 24, more than half will make it to the show. Applicants should already have developed a minimum viable product to pitch to the investors.
The show will start shooting by December and will air starting March 2019. Interested contestants may join through FinalPitch.ph/application.
