In a brief but fruitful meeting, former Senator Lito Lapid, one of the lead actors of “Ang Probinsyano”, 1 Pacman Partylist Rep. Mikee Romero and Rep. Eric Pineda, have agreed to support one another for the benefit of their countrymen.
Lapid is the principal author of the “Lapid Law” which expanded the free legal services to indigent Filipinos. On the other hand, Romero is the principal author of several measures like Driver’s License and Passport Extension, Agricultural Scholarship Grant and Tax Amnesty Bill, among others.
“Pact is sealed. This tie-up between 1 Pacman Partylist and former Sen. Lito Lapid is for the interest of our country, especially the unfortunate, the elders, the PWDs and the children. We both want to purely help our country and end poverty,” says Rep. Romero.
“I am sure that Mikee will be a big help to our country. I believe that our nation needs a man like him. Nakikita ko ang mga tulong na nagawa niya at mas marami pa siyang matutulungan at dapat matulungan,” says Lapid.
Lapid, Romero and Pineda are planning to have a joint caravan to rally public support behind their cause and help their countrymen in need.
